Writing Experience and Ritual

My Experience

The writing experience i have obtained over my school days and free-time, has been somewhat substantial.

I think when I enjoy writing or typing as it may be when I Role-play with my friends on Microsoft Instant Messenger, or just talking with other people within the Message Boards.

One of my big writings was, I had an idea for my Original character Marona and my friend agreed to illustrated it, so the writing had turn into more of a manga panel screenplay or script. Which I am very proud of cause it was one of my bigger writing projects.

One of the writings that I could get into back during my school days was in eleventh grade english class and it was a practice TAKS writing prompt on "Practicing" so I wrote about practice makes perfect in drawing and playing video games with hand eye coordination, so that was one of my more enjoyable writing experiences.

Most writing I had to deal with wasn't my forte, back in grade school, it kinda seemed forced, but since i've graduated writing has seemed smoother if I attempt it.

I really want to become a better writer, with the help of this class and help of my writing friends and classmates.

My Ritual

Well i don't truly have a writing ritual yet cause, i'm still new to the writing scene, but i guess for me is i like to sit in my room door shut and my laptop on my bed or in my lap, and sometimes i turn on Final Fantasy 11 though it may seem to be a distraction for some for me it helps me get my thoughts put together and sometimes even help get a story going. I don’t know when my thoughts exactly come to me but usally when I wake up have my tea or coffee surf around the web abit, and depends on the actual day because I’m usally busy with everything else so, its usally a Sunday when I get to writing. I think writing is gonna be like drawing for me. Also as a side note, my writing friend Tom in Illinois says "Writing is an artform, but it is also a craft." I also believe this and after reading some of his writing it made me want to be a writer as well, i did message my friend asking what his writing rituals were so maybe i'll recieve a reply from him soon
